| Apple founder attacks the iPod |
| Friday, October 10, 2008 at 13:22 by Mark Benson |
In a move which is sure to catch the eye of Apple fans all over the world, founder Steve Wozniak has attacked a number of aspects about the company and called time on the iPod as a fad item. He claims that the iPod has outlived his expectations but will soon feel the force of new and more exciting technology coming to the market. He has also criticised Apple followers claiming that they are spoon fed by the company and never complain.
These remarks are all the more remarkable as they come from a man who founded the group but it is perhaps his comments about Steve Jobs which will see him crossed off the Apple Christmas card list. He has also suggested that Steve Jobs ‘hated' the fact that Apple fans were too ‘stupid' to criticise the group and followed like sheep each time a new product was released.
While his blunt vocabulary may not go down too well he does have a point when he suggests that a lack of criticism is not doing Apple any good in the long run. They have made mistakes, they will make mistakes in the future but at this moment in time the fans of Apple do not seem to have the heart to criticise the company. That is not good for Apple or its customers moving forward – perhaps they all need a reality check? |

| The Ipod Shuffle was a total joke and the Ipod Chrome is just an Ipod crossed with some Iphone features. The Itunes is a total nightmare to use and complicated, but the Ipod is a great play back device, which beats most of the market, hands down. |

| I bought the new Ipod classic 160GB and I found that the volume output has been lowered. No information about this on the box. Very sneaky! In a quiet environment the volume is fine but out in the streets, on buses and trains, it is not.
Especially with classical music during the quiet moments. Whats is the point? One can now purchase an earphone amplifier? One can use earphones on potable radios, CD players, and so on..or at a disco, pub, to have your ears blasted. Why not allow the customer choose to lower the volume? It's disgraceful! I shall never purchase apple merchandise again. |
