Microsoft Fails To Deliver With New Xbox 360 Controller

When will the likes of Microsoft learn that if they build up the hype they need to deliver on the goods?
While the market has been primed for the release of a new Xbox controller, to rival the Wii motion controller, for some time all we have today is a revamped D-pad which is optimised for the Konami Pro Evolution Soccer series!
A splash of green paint and a slightly new look has not caught the eye of the gaming industry and the fact the pad turns out to be a promotional tool has not gone down very well. At a time when the gaming industry is calling out for Microsoft and Sony to attack the Wii motion controller and push the bar still higher we are all still waiting.
The fact that the ‘new' Xbox controller is only a limited edition model will further annoy those with Xbox machines and with the vital Christmas period approaching it looks as though the Wii motion controller could well have a free run at the Christmas market yet again.
Sony and Microsoft are really missing a trick here and as consumer frustrations start to grow there is every chance that the Nintendo Wii could be the main beneficiary in the run up to the festive period!

MS didn't build up the hype, the media did that by saying " IT COULD BE " . I would say a $199 360 Arcade is plenty to swing at Nintendo during the holliday. The Wii is just a gimmick and people are stupid. Everyone I know with a Wii used it for a week or 2 and now it collects dust. Wii's are the new beanie baby.

another ridiculous article,
firstly MS have repeatedly denied the motion controller and secondly this is clearly not the hyped about controller, if such a controller exists.
latest thing i read is the motion controller will be part of a new arcade bundle, no HD, no HDD but motion controller- to compete with the wii.
i think itvibe is missing the trick.
