While we all know that Microsoft will very soon release the new 60GB Xbox 360, the first shipments where not expected until 4th August, but it looks as though Target may have let the cat out of the bag. The US retailer would appear to have supplies of the new console in stock ahead of the launch with a picture of the box appearing on the Penny College website. So what will it offer the gaming world?
The picture seems genuine enough and it would appear the 60GB Xbox 360 has been branded as “Go Pro”. If the details are correct it will come with one wireless controller, a headset, one AV cable, a network cable and membership of the Xbox Live Silver level. It looks the part, it sounds like it does the business but when will it actually arrive in the UK?
Unfortunately for UK gamers Microsoft has not even confirmed whether the new console will be released in the UK so at best it seems that it will be many months away. Quite why the UK has not received the same kind of attention as the US is a mystery, but then again Microsoft may be looking to retake the top spot which was recently snatched from them by the Nintendo Wii. |
