Home Beta Begins for PS3
Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at 21:02 by Simon Spicer

Gamers and fans of the PlayStation 3 are excited – very excited.

Sony has officially confirmed that the beta testing for the PS3 Home has begun, and although an official date has yet to be released for the open beta, everyone is pushing for summer.

PlayStation Home is by far the most unique yet, as a customizable community for your PS3. You can create an avatar that is as alike as you can make him (Unlike the Mii's of Nintendo), and then your avatar can walk around its digital space. There's even a ‘home' that you can furnish using achievements you earned from games.

It was first shown at the Game Developers Conferences, and nearly all gaming fans are anxiously awaiting its release. You can sign up to be a part of the open beta test when it comes out at www.homebetatrial.com
