Pre order your Playstation 3 today
Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 19:08 by Darren Chew
Fancy reserving your copy of the new Sony ps3 games console? Well now you can.
GameStation, a high street and internet games store have started taking pre release orders for the new Sony console due, for release in november 2006.

Sony's next generation console the ps3 is rumoured to be available in 2 specifications. A 20Gb and 60GB version will be available to buy from the 17th of November 2006. At the moment pre orders are only being offered on the 60GB versions at a cost of £424.99. On its official release initial prices for the 60GB version were being rumoured at €599 approximately £400 although it now seems more likely to be £425. The GameStation website does say the pricing is subject to manufacturer's confirmation of the recommended retail price. Could this mean the new Sony games console could set you back even more then £425 for the top version? We will have to wait and see.

If you want to get your name down on that pre order list before everyone else, check out ps3preorder.net. This useful site will list all the retailers in your country that are offering pre orders on the ps3 and lists there price. They also offer a mailing list offering updates as and when they happen.

Roll on the 17th November

Just a little comment about the article its self, do you guys actually proof read articles before they are published? There a few spelling mistakes dotted about, also in the email that was sent about this article.

Also check http://www.pre-order-ps3.co.uk . This site seems to be more UK orientated as it only covers the UK. They've got a great preorder strategy guide on the site too.

If you are going to buy a PS3 check out Play.com has the best deal. They are selling them for £550 but that includes 3 games and free delivery - so not bad because there is no point in getting a PS3 without games [^] I'm going to try getting a PS3 by earning referrals. It is legit (according to the BBC). What do people think about this way of getting a PS3? http://www.ps3offer.co.uk/ A lot of people are doing the same (see http://www.exceem.co.uk) and I haven't heard anything bad apart from that its quicker to buy lol. Btw this is not an advertisement, I am trying to actually find someone's opinion on this method of getting a PS3. :D
