Napster to report 4Q revenue in excess of $26 million

Napster has announced that it expects to report financial results that are ahead of the Companys prior guidance for the fourth fiscal quarter ended 31st March 2006, the results will be anounced on Wednesday 17th May 2006.

Napster expects to report fiscal fourth quarter revenue in excess of $26 million, a substantially narrower net loss than
originally projected, and a cash and short-term investments balance in excess of $103 million. Napster posted strong subscriber growth in the fiscal fourth quarter resulting in a total subscriber base in excess of 600,000 users worldwide.
Based on the expected revenues for the quarter, Napster will post revenue growth of approximately 100% year-over year.

its interesting how a company can be sued for allowing piracy occur then make 26 million dollars worth of revenue in a quarter of a year.

4th quarter revenue of 26 million, is just phenominal, but expect for a company such as Napster. One who provides a service for people all over the world.
