Xbox 360 launch features 18 games

Microsoft Corp. today announced that 18 Xbox 360 games, spanning all the popular genres, and 13 Xbox 360 accessories will be available when the video game and entertainment system launches in North America on Nov. 22.

Exclusive racing games such as Project Gotham Racing 3, sports games such as Madden NFL 06 and NBA 2K6, action-adventure games such as Kameo: Elements of Power, titles with multiplayer co-op gameplay like Perfect Dark Zero, and action exclusives such as Call of Duty 2 all contribute to the broadest and deepest retail launch lineup in console history.

The following Xbox 360 games will be available in North America retail locations on or before the console is launched Nov. 22:

  • Amped 3
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Condemned: Criminal Origins
  • FIFA Soccer 06
  • GUN
  • Kameo: Elements of Power
  • Madden NFL 06
  • NBA 2K6
  • NBA LIVE 06
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted
  • NHL 2K6
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • Peter Jackson's King Kong
  • Project Gotham Racing 3
  • Quake 4
  • Ridge Racer 6
  • Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06
  • Tony Hawk's American Wasteland


Peter Moore, corporate vice president of Worldwide Marketing and Publishing for the Home and Entertainment Division of Microsoft said,

"There has never been a more exciting time to be a gamer. Xbox 360 will deliver mind-blowing experiences across multiple genres, no matter what your personal gaming preferences are. On Nov. 22, the next generation of gaming begins. From there, gamers will be overwhelmed with the pipeline of amazing Xbox 360 games yet to come."

All Xbox 360 launch titles from Microsoft Game Studios will be retailing at $49.99. Xbox 360 accessories will range in price from $11.99 to $99.99.

Perfect Dark Zero is looking very nice. I just saw some videos of the gameplay.
