Bellsouth and Napster offer free MP3 player
Monday, August 15, 2005 at 17:40 by Kathleen Hill
Bellsouth announced today that it has struck a deal with online digital music provider Napster.

Beginning today, residential customers of the Bellsouth "FastAccess DSL" package can receive a free MP3 player plus three months of membership to Napster's digital music service, which offers immediate access to more than 1.5 million music tracks.

Keith Cowan, president of marketing at Bellsouth said,

"Last month simplified its broadband pricing - and this month we're offering customers a way to bring their high-speed Internet experiences to life. Our customers are telling us that they want to use high-speed Internet for multimedia applications like downloading and storing music and photos. With FastAccess DSL and an MP3 player or digital camera, they can get the tools they need with the service they trust."

Unfortunately, the offer is open to new customers only.
