It would seem that visitors to the I.T. Vibe site are increasingly fond of alternative browsers, and in particular the Firefox product from the Mozilla Foundation. During the month of July, over 50% of visitors to I.T. Vibe were using Firefox software, with Internet Explorer visits accounting for less than 30% of visitors.
In June usage between the two browsers was pretty even, and in the months before that Internet Explorer has always had the edge. So, whilst mainstream usage of Firefox may be down at around the 10% mark, it would seem that our readers, who may be more technically minded, are quite fond of the Mozilla offering.
It will be interesting to see in coming months how these usage patterns change, particularly with the upcoming release of Internet Explorer 7. We'll keep you posted.
