The launch of Sony's handheld gaming console in the UK and Europe may have slipped again, if the availability date on the Amazon UK page is anything to go by.
Previously touted for a March/April launch, and then a June launch, Amazon UK has now pushed the release date all the way back to the end of September 2005. If it carries on slipping like this, UK customers will be lucky to see the console this side of Christmas.
If users are desperate to get their hands on one of these consoles, there are a number of retailers who seem happy to import consoles from either Japan or America. Games do not appear to be region coded so far, so this approach is an option for gamers who can't wait another five months. When we get any indication of a firm launch date from Sony, we'll let you know. In the meantime, there's always the Nintendo DS to keep you entertained.
