Nokia ship Splinter Cell for N-Gage
Sunday, April 03, 2005 at 10:39 by Rich Kavanagh
Nokia have announced that it has started shipping one of its most anticipated N-Gage games of the year, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Simultaneously, the game mini site will go live where all fans can download a free single-player demo of the game.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, set in an immersive 3D world, lets gamers go head-to-head or even play co-operatively via the Bluetooth wireless connection. Players can connect with each other also on the N-Gage Arena by posting player clips and rankings.

Pasi Polonen, director of games publishing at Nokia said,

"Gameloft has done a fantastic job with the Splinter Cell franchise on the N-Gage platform and the latest installment is no exception. Chaos Theory has been getting rave reviews in the press and we're proud to have the game in our portfolio. The downloadable demo offers a taste of the action and the Chaos Theory fan pack gives fans the chance to personalize their phone."

The Chaos Theory mini site also offers gamers the opportunity to download a training map and "fan packs" to their N-Gage phones from the N-Gage Arena. The "fan Pack" includes three different wallpapers, two pre-configured multimedia messages to send to friends and an N-Gage Arena launcher skin.
