iTunes comes to Europe
Monday, June 07, 2004 at 15:28 by Rich Kavanagh
Apple are to announce the launch of their popular music download service, iTunes, in Europe next week.

June 15th will see Apple host a press conference in London to make the big announcement which they themselves are billing as 'The biggest story in music is about to get even bigger'.

The actual launch date of the service has not yet been confirmed, but Apple are not usually known to hang around which means the service itself could actually go live as soon as June 15.

Apple sold over 70 million iTune downloads in their first year of trading in the US alone, we wonder if they will be as popular in Europe.
