Coca-Cola music download site goes live
Monday, January 19, 2004 at 19:04 by Rich Kavanagh
Following on from our report in December, drinks giant Coca-Cola have launched their music download website.

As we've already stated, every man and his dog now appears to be selling music for download.

Coke's website, called MyCokeMusic.com, are charging £6.40 for a complete album, or 80p for a single song.

Songs can also be streamed, or listened to once, for only 1p.

Luckily, Coca-Cola have no daft rules about the music you buy from them as once you've downloaded a song, it's yours to do what you like with, which means unlike certain other music download services, music downloaded from MyCokeMusic.com can be moved to portable players such as the Apple iPod.

Sponsors of the UK Top 40 music chart, MyCokeMusic.com have over 250,000 songs to choose from.
