Rockstar Games sued for $15,000
Friday, January 02, 2004 at 15:45 by Rich Kavanagh
We reported last month that Rockstar Games and its parent firm Take Two, were to remove racist comments from its popular Grand Theft Auto: Vice City game.

The complaints were raised by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on behalf of both Cubans and Haitians.

The removal of the racist comments however, was not enough for some people, as a Haitian civil rights group have taken Rockstar Games to court to sue for $15,000 dollars worth of damages.

The law suit filed on 23rd December 2003, was moved by Rockstar Games lawyers from a state circuit court to a federal court of law on 30th December 2003.

Rockstar Games have so far declined to comment.

That "game" might rule, but it has no right inciting racial hatred and untolerance by using such comments. They should get their arse sued.

Remember that graffiti artist that sued Rockstar games for using his artwork in GTA without permission. Well...they now use My graffiti artwork in their new game, BULLY. But I live in Sweden and have no idea on how to sue, or even get in touch with these ****ing pricks. I would be happy with some $$$ for their copyright theft but I most likely end up with nothing while they continue to make big money out of others work..as usual. If you want proof on the theft, check out the screenshots and the original work here: http://www.graffiticreator.net
